The family company Koolwijk established in 1922. The founder of the company was the grand father of the nowadays director. In the old days he started the transportation of milk cans from the farmers to the dairies.

His son ,Mr. A.T. Koolwijk, took over the company at the age of 18 years old. Many years he continued doing the same as his father did. With the introduction of containers in the sixties, he started with his first container chassis , trucking containers.
To fulfill the logistic wishes of our clients the company moved to Bergambacht in 1989. A new office and warehouse of 4.000 m2 , became operational. During the years an increase of warehouse surface of more than 20.000 m2 was a fact. Even a second location in Moerdijk of 30.000 m2 was created in 2005.
The son Mr.P.Koolwijk and the son in law Mr.R.Sluys took over the company beginning 2006
Nowadays Koolwijk offers warehousing , custom clearing, forwarding and container trucking, and all kind of logistic services a trading company needs.
